Approach
USERTECH/Canterbury developed a computer-based training program (CBT) in English,
as well as Spanish, that instructed employees to use GBMS in five general
areas. The program's modularity addressed the need for users to learn
only those aspects of the system that they would need to perform their
jobs. Step-by-step simulations allowed those with little or no computer
experience to become comfortable with the software before implementation.
Self-checks helped users gauge their knowledge and re-enforce their
learning.
